Fairy Celebration – CTC 85

~ With Love Handcrafted Cards

When I was a little girl I just LOVED fairies!!! My bedroom was decorated in a fairy theme and I had fairy birthday parties.

So when I saw the Fairy Celebration Stamp Set I knew I just had to have it (Annual Catalogue page 63).

I took my inspiration from this image……

And created this…….

I used Pool Party, Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral cardstock. The fairy is coloured using the Stampin’ Write Markers with a touch of Wink of Stella added to the wings and flowers. The new Stitched Satin Pool Party Ribbon also features on the card.

I am really pleased with how this card and it was such a lovely reminder of my childhood.

  7. i agree – lovely colouring. You have made the little fairy so believable in your pretty card. I loved them too, and got to enjoy them again when my own girl was little (probably me more than her really!!) Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us.
